News (07/21/2008) Editing is really coming along nicely. With over 14 hours of source footage, each scene has no shortage of takes to choose from. Although each scene takes time, the numerous takes give excellent results. Tom has done up some more Star Quest wallpapers! Check them out here. (04/29/2008) Well, a month and a half without an update is usually a sign that things have slowed significantly, which they have. Editing is slowly coming along, but we'd prefer to take our time and end up with a quality product, as opposed to rushing through it and developing a sub-par result. Once the editing starts to near completion, we will be posting numerous teaser shots, so stay tuned. (03/05/2008) Tomorrow we are planning to film our first pickup (that didn't take long)! Here's hoping all goes well. The pickup we are filming is part of a scene that falls into the category of "alot more significant than we thought." We have had numerous scenes that, on the drawing board, appeared to be simple and somewhat insignificant, but turned out to be alot more complex or substantial. We have now also put up a dedicated page for Star Quest: The Movie. You can find it under the "Films" section. (03/01/2008) Yesterday night we finally completed filming! There are likely numerous pickups we will need to film down the road, but the bulk of it is done. Post production is likely to take quite some time, but check back on the site often, as sneak peaks and behind the scenes photos will be posted. In other news, we are also now on Facebook. Just do a search for "Dubusary" and you should be able to find it. (01/29/2008) Saturday was very productive. We completed filming a good portion of the indoor scenes, and even worked on some set design and the script. In other news, it is -40 C outside, so it's a really good thing we are done filming the outdoor scenes. Friday we plan to film once again. Below are some photos from Saturday.   (01/22/2008) The past number of weeks have been filled with script-writing, costume design, camera dolly-construction and some finishing touches on the set. This past Friday we filmed one of the opening sequences of the film and this coming Saturday the indoor filming continues. Check back next week for some behind the scenes photos. (12/17/2007) Production has slowed a little as we have all been enjoying some well-deserved time off. We plan to start filming again in the new year. In the meantime, Tom has completed the official promotional poster! This one gives you a little more insight into the film than the teaser poster.
